Stress haze? Try Artz Daze

If work sometimes leaves you in a stressful haze, then you would seem a good candidate for a break with Artz Daze, the free monthly downtown summertime respite presented by the Columbus Area Arts Council.

The Aug. 5 activity, scheduled in front of The Commons at 300 Washington St. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature well-known local artist Marilyn Brackney helping people create zentangles, small pieces of abstract art.

The children’s activity in front of kidscommons across the street will consist of barn quilts and paper bag stars.
