Tempers flared with the heat and racing competition, and three people were arrested when more than a dozen people got involved in a fight at the Demolition Derby at Bartholomew County 4-H Fair.


A record crowd of 25,300 ventured out to the Bartholomew County Fair, nearly doubling the estimated 14,500 from the second day of the 1990 fair.


While a new Faith Lutheran Church building neared completion on State Road 46 West, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for another church, Fairlawn United Presbyterian on Fairlawn Drive.
