Arson was suspected as the cause of a devastating fire at Brand’s Inc. lumber that ravaged a building many considered a Columbus institution.


Twelve drivers were cited the first three nights of a crackdown on cruisers on 25th Street, with violations ranging from loud radios to squealing tires and loud mufflers.


Seventeen-year-old Sandy Hutton was crowned 1966 Aqua Queen at the annual Exchange Club swim meet and water show at Donner Pool, and Jamie Marr, 4, won the youngest swimmer crown.
