What to watch for: The Class 5A No. 6 Olympians will be without starting quarterback Josh Major for a second consecutive week while he recovers from a concussion. The Panthers likely also will be without their starting quarterback. Brock Ernstes was injured on the third play of Jennings’ season opener. The Panthers also have lost running back Victor Antunez for the season because of a hip injury.

Coaches: Tim Bless is 119-86 in his 19th year, including 107-77 in his 17th year at North; Grant Lewis is 4-9 in his second year at Franklin Central

What to watch for: The Bull Dogs, who moved up to No. 6 in this week’s Class 6A rankings, are third in the state among 6A teams in scoring offense (44.33), sixth in scoring defense (10.33) and third in margin of victory (34.00). Since opening the season with a win at Decatur Central, the Flashes have fallen to 4A No. 2 Roncalli and 5A No. 7 Bloomington South.
