Columbus East High School senior Madeson Shehan, 17, was named Miss Congeniality in the Miss Indiana Teen USA Pageant, conducted Saturday and Sunday at the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel.
It was her first pageant. She is the daughter of Gary and Cathy Shehan.
The preliminary show Saturday featured contestants competing in evening gown and athletic wear.
The field narrowed to the finalists on Sunday, and the final five contestants were interviewed on stage. Paige Robinson of Indianapolis was named Miss Indiana Teen USA.
