Closings for the Thanksgiving holiday include:
- Columbus City Hall, Thursday and Friday.
- Columbus City Utilities Office, closed Thursday and Friday. If you have a problem with water or sewer service, call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow prompts.
- No city trash, compost, recycling and brush collections Thursday. Pickup will run one day behind with Thursday’s collections on Friday and Friday’s collections on Saturday. Loose leaf collections will resume Monday.
- Bartholomew County offices, Thursday and Friday.
- Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District Office and Bartholomew County/Columbus Recycling Center, 720 S. Mapleton St., closed Thursday and Friday.
- Bartholomew County Landfill, 811 E. County Road 450S, closed Thursday.
