Harold E. “Buddy” Newland, 82, of Columbus, died at 2:32 a.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include his sons, Ike (Erica) Newland of Hope and Dustin Newland of Columbus; a daughter, Tammie (Daryl) White of Florida; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the funeral.
