Brighter Days housing facility is hosting an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. with a program at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the facility, 421 S. Mapleton St.
The event is being conducted to celebrate all those who helped make the facility possible and is open to the public.
Brighter Days is an emergency housing facility for individuals age 18 and older who are homeless in Bartholomew County. The facility can house 36 individuals and three to four staff members in staff quarters and two bunk areas, separated by gender. Guests are served a continental breakfast and then are referred to meal sites in Columbus.
