Nominators have until Friday to suggest candidates for the fourth group of inductees into the Columbus East High School Wall of Fame.
The Columbus East Alumni Association is working to build a legacy of excellence for past, present and future generations of Columbus East students.
People can make a nomination by emailing them to [email protected].

Include a brief biography or description of the candidate, as well as contact information for the nominator and nominee.
Criteria include:
Columbus East graduate
Special achievements in the nominee’s area of specialization
Honors, awards or other recognition received
Community service
Meritorious contributions to society in general or to a specific segment of society
Memoriam for death “in the line of duty”
Previous inductees in the Wall of Fame:
2014: Marja Harmon, Jeffrey Holmes, Sam Hou, Ashley Risk Morrison and Maria Stack.
2015: Frank Anderson and his wife, the late Carol Anderson; Jennifer Rumsey and Richard Fields.
2016: Bryan and Sandy Brown, Amy Huntington and the late Russell Evans.
A reception for 2017 inductees will take place at 6 p.m. Jan. 27, with awards presented at halftime of the East Central at Columbus East boys basketball game.
