Love Chapel to unveil new logo, website

Love Chapel will soon unveil a new website design and logo, a rebranding that will better connect clients to its services and those of other community service providers.

“It’s kind of bringing Love Chapel up to the 21st century,” executive director Kelly Daugherty said of the redesign of the charity’s website, lovechapel-bartholomew.org. He said the new interface will allow users to more easily find services Love Chapel offers, such as its food pantry at 292 Center St., mobile pantries, hot meal programs and more.

The site also will allow users to select English or Spanish, and also will provide links to other community service providers.

The new website and logo will be unveiled May 1, Daugherty said, though supporting churches will get a sneak preview of the logo on Sunday.

Daugherty said the redesigns were enabled by a grant from the Heritage Fund.

“We’re excited about it. A lot of work gone into it,” he said. “It’s the same Love Chapel, just a new look.”

Love Chapel, an outreach of the Ecumenical Assembly of Bartholomew County Churches, operates the county’s largest food pantry, the Brighter Days housing shelter and other community assistance programs from offices at 311 Center St., Columbus.
