George Max Seitz, 86, of Fairborn, Ohio, died on Monday, December 12, 2016. He was born, the son of Earl and Maude Roush Seitz, on October 31, 1930, in Brown County, Indiana.
George was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eugene Seitz, Ivan Seitz, Harold Seitz and Paul Seitz; sisters, Flora Artis, Eleanor Ayres and Velma Henry.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Seitz; sons, Gary (Kim) Seitz of Troy, Ohio, and Dennis (Denise Selders) Seitz of Colorado.
George was a member of the United States Air Force, proudly serving for 21 years. After his military career ended, he worked for 20 years as a United States Postal Carrier. More than anything he enjoyed spending quality time with his family. George was a loving husband and father. He will be missed by all of those who love him.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, December 19, at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Medway Cemetery.
