Edwin “Shot” Bryant, 74, of North Vernon, died December 17, 2016, at his residence.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. Gill Hawkes will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, Edwin is survived by his daughter, Anna Leah (David) Cottongim of Plainfield; two sons, David Allen (Amanda) Bryant of Dupont and Chad Edwin Bryant of North Vernon; four brothers, Jim Bryant of Hope, Danny Bryant of North Carolina, Lloyd Bryant of Indianapolis and Ronnie Lee of Elk Cave, Kentucky; three sisters, Mary Broyles of Mitchellsburg, Kentucky, Bobby Carol Howell of Indianapolis and Brenda Dvorak of Bloomington; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Restoration Fellowship Church.
