Richard D. Aspenson, 76, passed away in Columbus, Indiana, on December 17, 2016. He was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on September 13, 1940, the son of Maurice and Mardyll (Perkins) Aspenson.
Richard was a self-employed truck driver for many years. In his spare time he loved to fish and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; two sons, Randy Aspenson of Columbus and Rick Aspenson of Nashville; three grandchildren, Josh, Troy and Jarod; and six great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 28 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135N, Nashville.
