Dana Lynn (Sullivan) Einhaus, 51, of Westport, passed away at 8:12 p.m. December 28, 2016, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born December 25, 1965, in Columbus, the daughter of Richard L. and Janet I. (Whitham) Sullivan.
A 1984 graduate of South Decatur High School, she lived most of her life in Decatur County and was employed at St. Vincent-Jennings Hospital in North Vernon the past 14 years. She was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and loved her cats.
She is survived by her parents, Richard and Janet Sullivan of Westport; her son, Ryan (Nicole) Einhaus, and granddaughter, Rennlee Einhaus, of Leesburg; her sister, Tracy (Clayton) Seale and nephew, Devin Seale, of North Vernon; and her grandmother, Marjorie Whitham of Vevay.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glenn and Genevieve Sullivan, and her grandfather, Raymond Whitham.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport, with the Rev. Steve Malone and the Rev. Colleen Malone officiating. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Following her wishes, Dana will be cremated and burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery at a later date.
