Caroline Bryant, 74, of Columbus, died at 12:17 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017, at Kindred Hospital Indianapolis South.

Caroline retired from Kroger Saveon after 15 years of service.

She was of the Baptist faith and a charter member of the BMW Motorcycle Club.

Caroline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all.

Local calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Services in North Vernon with Pastor Bill Blakely officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.

Caroline was born April 20, 1942, in Middletown, Ohio, to Vernon and Rohda Combs House.

She married, Earl R. Bryant on February 13, 1961.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years; her daughter, Cynthia Beasley of Plainfield; grandchildren, Natalie (Trent) Patrick of Columbus and Michael (Misty) Beasley of Indianapolis; a great-granddaughter, Desiree Patrick; and a brother, Sam (Janet) House of Hayden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Verna Anderson.
