Butlerville
Joseph Emerson Daugherty, 74, of Butlerville, died at 11:21 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Daugherty of Butlerville; son, Charles (Stacey) Daugherty of Butlerville; daughter, Steffanie (Chad) Smith of Butlerville; brother, James (Sheila) Daugherty of North Vernon; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral for Mr. Daugherty will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Morris officiating. The viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services and one hour prior to the funeral Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Otter Creek in Jennings County.
Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the Vernon Baptist Church.
