NASHVILLE — Brown County jumped out to a 34-24 halftime lead and cruised from there to a 62-41 win against Greenwood Christian Academy.
Jordan Samples led the Eagles (4-16) with 20 points. Josh Cochran added 12.
Lancers nip Cougars
GREENSBURG — Edinburgh withstood a fourth-quarter charge from South Decatur to hang on for a 52-51 Mid-Hoosier Conference win.
The Lancers improved to 6-16 overall and 2-4 in the MHC. Nick Benge led the Cougars (10-11, 2-3) with 23 points.
Bulldogs top Panthers
NORTH VERNON — Jennings County was tied with Batesville going to the fourth quarter, but the Bull Dogs pulled away for a 61-53 win.
Tyler Vogel led the Panthers (13-8) with 20 points. Bret Sawyer added 11 points and eight rebounds, and Chase Ketcham had 10 points and four assists.
