Rockpile has perfect season in broomball

The Rockpile won its final regular-season broomball match against Hansons by forfeit last week and will be the top seed for the postseason tournament.

Also last week, Monsters of Rock blanked Slappin’ Balls 7-0. Ben Eckhart and Tom Kubat each scored two goals for Monsters; while Greg Thomas, Kathryn McCarthy and Nicole Sutherlin all had one.

Yoopers edged CCA Kutters 2-1. Ryan Siefring and Andrew Nagus scored for Yoopers, and Scott Herron had the goal for Kutters.

Our Name is Earl beat Toyota Tsunamis 2-0 on two goals from Dane Bremer.

In the Iron Man Game, Team White and Team Black played to a 2-2 tie. Ryan Ingalls and Bremer scored for White, while Thomas and James Schnable had the goals for Black.

No. 8 seed Toyota Tsunamis will play No. 9 seed Slappin’ Balls in the tournament play-in game tonight. The rest of the playoff seedings will be determined by today’s final two regular-season games.

Evan Rust and Zack Carrie each rolled a 279 game to share high-game honors in the Tuesday Night Men’s League. Tracy Wehmiller had the high series (748), Megan Logics posted the team high game (1,251) and series (3,568) and Gray’s Pro Shop leads the team standings at 160-48.

Wes Sullivan recorded the men’s high game (267) and series (708) in the Sunday Night Mixed League. Courtney Barker has the women’s high game (236), Kerry Walker tallied the women’s high series (590) and Independents had the team high game (936) and series (2,712). Independents and Here We Go Again are tied atop the team standings at 116-76.

John Zieleniuk notched the high game (258) and series (718) in the Senior Men’s League. Cougars had the team high handicap series (3,098), and Wildcats lead the team standings at 157-59.

Jeff Brown rolled the men’s high game (246), and Clint Million had the men’s high series (672) in the Wednesday Night Mixed League. Lu Kinman posted the women’s high game (203), and Tonya Hiday had the women’s high series (559). Maybe Next Week recorded the team high game (882), Altered Vision Customs had the team high series (2,496) and C.B.C. No. 2 leads the team standings at 142-66.
