Rosemary Compton, 96, of Columbus, died at 6:35 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation.
Rosemary was a member of Ohio Chapel United Methodist Church.
She retired from the Columbus Regional Hospital in housekeeping.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Lonny Goen officiating. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday. Burial will be at Ohio Chapel Cemetery.

Rosemary was born March 30, 1920, in Bartholomew County, to Daniel Carson and Fannie B. Bridgewater Shroyer.
Survivors include her daughter, Vera Vanarsdale of Phoenix, Arizona; her granddaughter, Rebecca Shroyer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ruel Compton; and her brothers, Chester, William and Charles Sullivan and Robert, Harold, Donald and Johnny Shroyer.
