City plans neighborhood meeting to discuss projects

Several ongoing projects in Columbus will be highlighted during a neighborhood meeting next month.

The April 24 meeting hosted by city councilwoman Elaine Wagner will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. at YES Cinema, 328 Jackson St. Council members Laurie Booher and Tom Dell will also attend, while several city department heads will be available to answer questions from the public.

Projects to be discussed include the city’s efforts to alleviate traffic and delays due to longer, faster and heavier trains that will impact the State Route 46 intersection starting next year, the State Street Revitalization Project, and development along the city’s riverfront and in downtown Columbus.
