Mrs. Marie E. Mellencamp, 81, of Seymour, died at 5:05 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center with her family by her side.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Mellencamp Sr.; children, Daniel (Margie) Luckey, Beth (Mark) Brock, Charles (Karen) Reynolds, Joe (April) Luckey and Dessa Luckey (Bobby Ray); stepchildren, Donnie (Brie) Mellencamp, Mike (Stacy) Mellencamp, Debbie (Brian) Burke, Teresa Sanford and Tony (Kay) Mellencamp; 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Marie was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Sabourin.
A memorial service will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Mountain Baptist Church, 4604 U.S. 31, Seymour, with the Rev. Van Breeding officiating. Family and friends may gather after 4 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the church. A private family graveside service will be at Riverview Cemetery.
