Train crossing closings will continue today through Thursday along the Louisville & Indiana and CSX track approaching Columbus.
Closings include:
- Today: The Deaver Road to County Road 200S railroad crossings will be closing in the morning, reopening overnight.
- Wednesday and Thursday: Spears Street and County Road 100S crossings will be closed in the morning and reopened overnight.
The Louisville & Indiana Railroad and CSX Railroad are upgrading all rail line between Seymour and Indianapolis. Work in Bartholomew County began the weekend of April 22 and was expected to affect crossings in the heart of Columbus by late May or early June.
