The 50th annual Bartholomew County 4-H Fair opened.


A Florida family in their private plane made a scheduled stop in Columbus, however, they didn’t quite make it to the airport, landing instead on Marr Road.


It was back to the old routine for most Columbus-area residents following the coolest Fourth of July holiday in memory, with highs reaching only 75 degrees and lows in the 50s.
