Two local Democrats have been named to the Emerging Leaders Project Class for 2017-18 by the Indiana Democratic Party.
Hanna Omar and Elaine Wagner are in the 40-member class, which is run by a nonprofit partnering with the Democratic Party to provide free training for young leaders who have an interest in running for office or working on campaigns.
