Lori Beth Moak, 56, of Columbus, passed away at 6:54 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis and went to join her “Daddy” in Heaven.

Lori was born in Columbus, September 2, 1960, the daughter of Willie “Buck” and Margaret Marie England. She married Bill Allen Moak November 20, 1981.

She was a former pharmacy employee at Osco Drugs. However, her favorite job and legacy was being a wife, mother, and grandmother to her two children and two grandchildren. She adored her grandchildren and her dog “Bunny.” Lori cared deeply for her family and animals. She would often say, “Family is everything.”

Survivors include her husband, Bill Allen Moak; children, Alisha (Matt) Moak and Justin Moak, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Belicia Garcia and Wesley Martin; her mother, Margaret “Marie” England; and sisters, Cheryl (Mark) Atkins, Vicki Burnett, Rebecca (Mike) Rea, and Rachel (David) Williams, all of Columbus.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Willie “Buck” England; her maternal grandparents, George “Sam” Fields and Mary Elizabeth Fields; and her paternal grandparents, Charles “Bob” England and Nora Jessie England.

Public visitation will be held from 1-2:15 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.

A private family graveside service will be at Garland Brook Cemetery with the Reverend Patrick Galligar from St. Peter’s Lutheran Church officiating. Pastor David Burnett will be the vocalist.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
