Pauline Harris

COLUMBUS

Pauline Harris, 88, of Columbus, died Thursday, August 24, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Pauline was a member of the Columbus Moose Lodge #398, Women’s Fireman’s Auxiliary, American Legion Post #24 and the First United Methodist Church, Columbus. She was also active in the Homecoming Committee of the Knightstown Soldiers and Sailors Children’s Home, an organization very dear to her heart.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Edgar D. Harris; son, Randy Harris; grandson, Scott Odell; sister, Maxine Pollack; and brother, Harold Stucker.

Survivors include her loving children, Debbie (Bill) Castle of Muscle Shoals, AL, Paula (Patrick) Harris-Napier of Elizabethtown, Gail (Rockne) Day of Columbus, Mark Harris of Columbus and Richard (Tamara) Harris of Columbus; sister, Virginia Johnson of Columbus; grandchildren, Danny and David Castle, Kristy Smith, Amanda Chambers, Laura Bryant, Courtney Chaplin and Josh Harris. Also surviving are 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Myers-Reed Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
