Dale E. Croucher, 62, of Hope, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017, at his residence.

Dale served in the Navy from 1973 to 1976. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping. Mr. Croucher was a longtime follower of NASCAR and a fanatic of Green Bay Packers Football. He liked listening to music and took pride in his extensive collections of NASCAR, Packers and music memorabilia.

A military graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017, with Pastor Rick Leonard officiating. In following with Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Military honors will be presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will be at Flat Rock Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Croucher family through the funeral home.

Mr. Croucher was born September 1, 1955, in Columbus, Indiana, to the late Perry F. and Sally L. Hopkins Croucher.

Survivors include his daughter, Toyna (Shannon) Burkman of Elizabethtown; son, Kevin (Melissa) Croucher of Flat Rock; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; fiance, Diana Miller of Hope; brothers, Douglas (Becky) Croucher of Hope, Donnie (Pam) Croucher of Ohio; four nieces; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie DeWalle.
