Evelyn Sullivan, 83, of Shelbyville, passed from this life at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Ashford Place Health Campus in Shelbyville.
Mrs. Sullivan was a homemaker and a member of American Legion Auxiliary and a charter member of Eagles Auxiliary in Shelbyville.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Marvin Brown officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Evelyn was born August 2, 1934, in Columbia, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Lilburn and Nona Barnett Burton.
She married Thomas Wesley Sullivan on January 24, 1951.
He passed from this life at 11:44 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Danny) Burton of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Emily (Duane) Anderson II, Wesley (Sheila) Sullivan, Melissa Stickle and Amy Sullivan; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lilburn Burton; her mother, Nona Vetter; a son, Ronnie Dean Sullivan; brothers, Oscar, Lilburn Junior, Kenneth Ray, Dennis, Roger, Tommy and James; a sister Flossie Mae McAnelly; and her step-mother, Lola Faye Burton.
