Columbus Volleyball Academy to hold tryouts
The Columbus Volleyball Academy will hold a parent meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Columbus East High School gym.
Tryouts for the 2018 season will be Oct. 15 and 22 at East from 3 to 5 p.m. for ages 13 and 14 and from 5 to 7 p.m. for ages 12 and under. Teams will be announced by Oct. 27. There will be a $100 tryout fee, which will go toward club fees after selections.

Columbus East plans swimming call-out meeting
Columbus East will have a call-out meeting for boys and girls swimmers and their parents at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the school’s cafeteria.
