Animal education opportunities abound at state park

Are you interested in the animals you see roaming the forests and soaring in the sky? Brown County State Park has some upcoming educational opportunities for you to learn more about animals.

Consider these programs:

  • “Radical reptiles”: Begins at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nature Center.
  • “Our eight-legged friends”: Guided spider program starts at 3 p.m. Friday at the Nature Center.
  • “Live birds of prey”: The Indiana Raptor Center will bring birds and discuss them at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nature Center. Donations are welcome.
  • “Snakes alive!”: Begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Nature Center.
  • “Gone batty”: Bat talk begins at 1 p.m. Monday at the Nature Center.
  • “Native animals”: Guided talk starts at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Nature Center.

The gate fee applies to all programs.
