Leaders of the YES Film Festival in Columbus have announced Jury Prize winners for the 21-movie event, which runs Friday through Sunday at YES Cinema.
Winners in each category are:
- Best Narrative: “The Sounding.”
- Best Documentary: “The Freedom to Marry.”
- Best Short: “Lucky Chicken.”
Monetary prizes were awarded by an 11-person jury comprised of filmmakers, media representatives, actors, producers and directors from film festivals across the nation.

The Audience Awards will be determined based upon audience member voting during the festival, shown at the theater, 328 Jackson St.
