Cheer Fund Toy Drive coming to fairgrounds

Hoosier Pro Wrestling will return to Columbus on Saturday for “Discretion” and its 14th annual Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund Toy Drive2 at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Bell time is 7:45 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and free for kids 4 and under.

Ceraland to host winter indoor sports leagues

Ceraland will host winter indoor soccer, volleyball and basketball leagues beginning in January.

The soccer league will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sundays beginning Jan. 7 for eight weeks and is team signup only. Cost is $120 per team, plus a $5 sports and fitness center fee for non Ceraland annual passholders.

The coed intermediate volleyball league starts Jan. 8, and the coed competitive volleyball league begins Jan. 11 and will be played from 6 to 10 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. Cost is $80, plus a $5 sports and fitness center fee for non Ceraland annual passholders.

Basketball will feature a Tuesday Corporate League and a Wednesday Open League beginning Jan. 9 and 10. Cost is $400 per team.
