ELIZABETHTOWN
Thomas L. Zerby Sr., age 78, of Elizabethtown, passed away at 2:40 p.m. Sunday December 10, 2017, at Kindred Transitional Health Care Facility.
He was born November 11, 1939, in Apollo, Pennsylvania, to the late Lester K. and Betty J. (Brown) Zerby.
He was retired from LTV Steel and enjoyed camping and fishing.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Marilyn J. (Fryer) Zerby of Elizabethtown; two sons, Thomas Zerby Jr. of Rossville and Billy Zerby of Wanatah, Indiana; two stepsons, Bob (Joanne) Faught of Valparaiso and Steve (Katrina) Faught of Oak Grove, Tennessee; a daughter, Tina (Jim) Adams of Bardstown, Kentucky; three stepdaughters, Linda Acton of Elizabethtown, Indiana, Sue (Mert) Hollan of Portland, Tennessee, and Brandie Faught of Versailles, Indiana; two brothers, Bobby (Janet) Zerby and Alan (Mary) Zerby; and 19 grandchildren.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenny, Eddie and Larry Zerby; and two sisters, Joyce Hicks and Judith Zerby.
Friends and family are invited to a time of visitation from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Zerby will be cremated following the visitation.
