2007

C4 students in architectural drafting, engineering drafting, electronics technology, machine trades, multimedia and welding designed and constructed a spectacular display consisting of more than 18,000 lights synchronized to five songs in the student parking lot at Columbus North High School for the public to enjoy free each evening through the holiday season.

1992

Columbus East High School students donated 3,500 cans of food to the community food bank at Love Chapel and Columbus North students delivered food to 75 low-income families to culminate its annual food drive, with leftovers going to the Salvation Army, church food pantries, Love Chapel and the Cheer Fund.

1967

Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Reed, who were moving from Columbus to Connecticut, donated 52 shares of Irwin Union Bank and Trust Co. stock to Bartholomew County Library Foundation to establish a library science scholarship fund.
