Mr. Robert L. “Bob” Gross, 75, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center.
He was born March 2, 1942, in Typo, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Martha (Gibson) Gross.
On February 4, 1961, he married Carol Wilcox in Hazard, Kentucky; she survives.
He was a member of Garden City Church of Christ. He worked in the maintenance department at Golden Foundry in Columbus for over 40 years.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing. He was an avid bird hunter and enjoyed working with his bird dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Gross; children, Tammie (Mark) Baker and Neil (Pam) Gross; and grandchildren, Sarah Baker, Scott (Whitney) Baker, Aaron Gross and Dylan Gross.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Gross; and sisters, Charlene Couch and Mallie Brown.
Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, January 11, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Virgil Clodfelter officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday 4-7 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
