EDINBURGH
Joshua Lee “Josh” Goins, 33, of Edinburgh, passed away February 28, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born August 9, 1984 in Columbus. He was the son of Steve Goins of Indianapolis, and Teresa F. (Perdue) Higgins of Nineveh.
He married Devon (Hadley) Goins.
He is survived by his wife; parents; a stepmother, Sandy Goins; son, Kemper Goins of Edinburgh, daughters, Trynyn Goins and Baileigh Burton, both of Edinburgh, and Jada Goins of Hanover; brother, Matt (Michelle) Goins of Carmel; stepsister, Kimberlee Oliff of Indianapolis; nephews, Drew Goins and Gavin Goins, nieces, Lennon Goins and Arianna Kay Bryant.
He was employed by Harmon Construction Co. of North Vernon Indiana as a superintendent.
He enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events, being a coach, fishing, hunting and dancing.
A funeral service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 by the Rev. Lewis Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 2:30 p.m. until time of service at the church.
