COLUMBUS
Virginia Ann Holle, 93, of Columbus and formerly of Valparaiso, Indiana, died on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 5:35 a.m. at Four Seasons Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Holle graduated from Olivet College in 1947 with a Bachelor’s in education. She then taught for 15 years as an Elementary School Teacher.
In keeping with Mrs. Holle’s wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Holle may be given to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born on October 2, 1924 in Griggsville, Illinois, she was the daughter of Wayne and Mildred (Cadwell) Harshman.
On August 7, 1948 in Griggsville, Illinois, she married George B. Holle.
Survivors include a son, Darwin George Holle of Franklin, Indiana; two daughters, Diane (Don) Michael of Columbus and Victoria (Ted) Payne of Valparaiso; grandchildren, Matthew (Tiffany) Michael, Anne (Ryan) Dell, Sarah (Jack) Chaille, Casie (Ryan) Drake, Amelia Payne; Great-Grandchildren, Ondrea Dell, Tinsley Michael, Tristan Michael, Ava Dell. She was one of seven children and has surviving a sister, Donna Geeding of Menasha, Wisconsin and a brother, Wayne Harshman Jr. of Dixon, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 2, 1993; and four siblings. Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
