The Bartholomew County Democratic Party will be hosting a reception for U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-California, from 3 to 4 p.m. May 20.
Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee and frequent commentator on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News, will be speaking to county Democrats about the 2018 elections and future of the Democratic Party.
Bob Hyatt, chairman of the Bartholomew County Democratic Party, said the organization is excited to host Swalwell.
“Congressman Swalwell is a young, energetic leader who is the future of both our party and our country, and we are excited to have him join us here,” Hyatt said.
The event will take place at Hotel Indigo, 400 Brown St., Columbus. Advance tickets are $75 at barthdems.org. Tickets will be sold at the door for $100.
