Eagles runners qualify for state boys track meet
BLOOMINGTON — Brown County qualified for the June 2 Boys Track and Field State Finals in three events with top-three finishes in Thursday’s Bloomington North Regional.
The Eagles’ Isaiah Keefauver, Marino Dolph, Jackson McPheeters and Wyatt Wyman won the 4×800-meter relay in 7 minutes, 57.99 seconds. Wyman (1:57.12) and McPheeters (1:57.85) took second and third in the 800; and Keefauver, Dale Phelps, McPheeters and Wyman were third in the 4×400 relay (3:29.59).
Brown County finished sixth as a team with 32 points, while Jennings County was 17th with 13. Bloomington South won with 90.
