Two arrested by JNET on multiple drug-related charges

The Bartholomew County Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) arrested two people Monday on multiple drug-related charges.

An arrest warrant was served on Bryce Hatton, 20, 928 California St., stemming
from a drug investigation for two counts of dealing illegal narcotics, investigators said. Illegal narcotics, fentanyl, marijuana, drug-related paraphernalia and cash were found inside the residence.

Hatton was arrested on preliminary charges of

–Dealing in cocaine
–Dealing in marijuana
–Possession of cocaine/narcotic drug
–Possession of marijuana
–Maintaining a common nuisance
–Possession of paraphernalia
–Bartholomew County warrant for two counts of dealing illegal narcotics

Hatton remains in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $316,000 bond.

Also arrested was Isabelle Nida, 19, 928 California St., investigators said. She was arrested on preliminary charges of:

–Dealing in cocaine
–Dealing in marijuana
–Possession of cocaine/narcotic drug
–Possession of marijuana
–Maintaining a common nuisance
–Possession of paraphernalia
Nida remains in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $66,000 bond.

The Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team, a combined unit of the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, the Columbus Police Department and the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office is proactively targeting the manufacturing and abuse of dangerous drugs in Columbus and Bartholomew County.
