School Bus routes for some Graham Creek and Brush Creek elementary students and the Versailles shuttle bus routes may be affected by ongoing road construction said Warren Lucas, transportation director for Jennings County School Corp.
“With current construction on (State Road) 7 South and the closing of Buckeye Street in North Vernon, we are looking to make modification for some routes,” Lucas said.
The Jennings County Transportation Advisory Committee will meet on Monday, Lucas added, “to look at the routing options and make the best decisions based on getting kids to school safely and in a timely matter.”
