Walker, Lauer to take part in virtual Education Third House on Saturday

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Educators Association (CEA) and Bartholomew County Retired Teachers Association (BARTA) are inviting members of the public to a virtual Third House meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The Third House event will feature Rep. Ryan Lauer, R-Columbus, and Sen. Greg Walker, R-Columbus, and focus specifically on education-related legislation.

The session will take place on Zoom. Anybody from the public can register to attend online at the link http://bit.ly/eduthirdhouse.

CEA and BARTA are welcoming question submissions from the public in advance of the event or during the Third House itself. Questions can be emailed to [email protected] or submitted on Zoom during the Third House.D

Following a discussion of legislation, moderators will read questions that have been submitted by viewers for legislators. The event is expected to last one hour.

Those that wish to attend must register at http://bit.ly/eduthirdhouse, and they will receive a link to the Third House in advance of the event.
