Kirchner to play in NJCAA Division II Championships
Vincennes University’s Bryce Kirchner will play in the NJCAA Division II National Championships this week after shooting 224 for 54 holes at the Region 24 Championships.
Kirchner, a sophomore from Jennings County, carded rounds of 76, 74 and 74 at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois, to lead the Trailblazers to a tie for sixth in the team standings. He qualified for nationals as an individual after advancing through a three-man playoff for two spots.
The NJCAA Division II Championships begin Tuesday and run through Friday at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth.
Central football callout postponed to May 25
Central Middle School’s football callout meeting has been postponed from Tuesday until May 25.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. May 25 in the school’s cafe.
