Letter: Delaying school disrupts families’ lives

Monday morning at 8 a.m. it was bright sunshine, very light breeze, clear, dry roads and 9 degrees. Beautiful morning but no school until 10 a.m.

Monday morning at 10 a.m. it was bright sunshine, light breeze and clear, dry roads and 10 degrees. What’s the difference? Well it’s 1 degree and thousands of working parents’ lives disrupted again. Over and over and over.

If the people making these decisions had to stay an extra two hours … problem solved.
