City to begin summer hours next week

Summer hours will begin Monday for city of Columbus departments, including those at City Hall, Columbus City Utilities and the Columbus Municipal Airport.

Hours will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

While Columbus City Utilities will observe summer hours, the drive-up payment window will remain open until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

On Aug. 3, offices observing the summer hours will return to regular 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule Monday through Friday.

The Columbus Police Department administrative offices, Columbus Parks and Recreation offices, Animal Care Services and Columbus Housing Authority will remain on regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the summer.

ColumBus Transit will continue normal hours of 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays.

Columbus City Garage hours will be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
