Robert Joseph “Bob” Holley, 73, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Columbus and Elizabethtown, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.

Born in Columbus Sept. 9, 1942, he was the son of Joe Holley and Knoxie Holley (Duncan).

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Cummins Inc. His hobbies included boating, fishing, camping, Pepper & Chi-Chi, welding, morning coffee club with friends, target shooting, golf cart rides and auctions.

Mr. Holley is survived by his wife, Jackie Sue Holley of Mesa; sons, Joseph (Connie) Holley of Texas, Dean (Kathy) Holley of Kokomo, Brad (Janean) Holley of Gnaw Bone and Steven (Lori) Holley of Seymour; daughters, Chris Elgar and Susan (Tim) Gregg, both of Columbus; a sister, Helen Selig of Elizabethtown; brothers, Danny (Ena) Holley of Kentucky and David Holley of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and beloved dogs, Pepper and Chi-Chi.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Kathryn Holley and Bettie Holley; brothers, Frank and Jerry Holley; a sister-in-law, Linda Holley; and beloved dog, Sara Lee.
