Ezekiel Henry Decker, son of Chad and Lisbeth (Klosterman) Decker, of Columbus, went to be with our Lord at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He is preceded in death by great-grandparents: (maternal) Amos Klosterman, Hugh and Patty Lucas; (paternal) Bill and Mary Lou Decker.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Max and Brenda (Lucas) Klosterman; his maternal great-grandmother, Leona (Klosterman) Stahl, both of Brownstown; paternal grandparents, Scott Decker of Seymour and Doris Pearson of Columbus; paternal great-grandparents, Marge and Earl Climer of Columbus. Surviving aunts and uncles include, Lacy and Josh Vaughn, Leah and Kyle Broshears, Clayton and Hannah (Currao) Klosterman, David Decker of Seymour and Laney and Kelsey Pearson of Columbus. Cousins include Parker and Hudson Broshears, and Kelby and Kyla Vaughn, both of Seymour.
A private family service and interment was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers with the Rev. Craig Muhlbach officiating.
Memorials may be given in Ezekiel’s memory to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers Landscaping fund.
