EDINBURGH — About 40 wild horses and burros from western public range land will be available for adoption in Edinburgh at Hoosier Horse Park, 7105 S. Kern St.
The preview will be from 2 to 7 p.m. March 18, and the adoption is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 19 Adoptions are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To help maintain an ecological balance in the western range lands and to preserve mustangs, the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management offers some horses and burros each year to the public for adoption.
