Ramona B. McDowell, 83, of Franklin, formerly of North Vernon, died at 9:31 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin.
She is survived by her son, Charles Filson of Columbus; daughters, Margaret Hoppus of Greensburg and Pamela (Rex) Baxter of Flat Rock; sister, Charlene Miller of North Vernon; fourteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and a son, Stephen Filson.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Franklin.
