Columbus police found methamphetamine when arresting a local man on two Bartholomew County warrants.
James T. Garris, 33, 405 Della Road, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine after officers saw him at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday at a gas station in the 1700 block of North National Road, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
Officers said they found a small bag of methamphetamine concealed in Garris’ clothing when searching him after the arrest, Harris said.
Garris is being held at the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $8,000 bond, jail officials said.
